Pre-order product OpenCart extensions allow you to offer upcoming items for purchase before they are in stock. This generates excitement and lets you manage inventory effectively. You can choose whether customers pay full price or a deposit upfront.
Features:
- Stock Status: This feature allows customers to order the products whose out of stock status are same as this field value with zero or less quantity will become available for preorder. For example, when the regular stock of a product reaches a certain threshold ( less than 1 ), it can automatically switch product for preorder.
- Button Text: This allows you to specify the text that will appear on the preorder button visible on the frontend of your website. The default text is “Pre Order,” but you can customize it according to your preference or branding.
- Font Size: You can adjust the font size of the preorder button text. The default size is set to 15 pixels, but you have the flexibility to increase or decrease it based on your design requirements.
- Background Color: This feature enables you to choose the background color of the preorder button text. The default color code is #000000 (black), but you can select any color that suits your website’s theme or design aesthetic.
- Background Color (Hover): Similarly, you can specify a different background color for the preorder button text when a user hovers over it. This feature helps enhance user experience by providing visual feedback.
- Text Color: You can define the color of the preorder button text itself. The default color code is #FFFFFF (white), but you can customize it to ensure visibility and contrast with the background color.
- Text Color (Hover): Similar to the background color hover feature, this allows you to set a different text color for the preorder button when it’s hovered over by the user. Again, this enhances the interactive experience on your website.
- Max Allowed Quantity: Enter the maximum quantity of a single pre-order product that a user can purchase in one order.
Enter 0 for no restriction.
Example: To allow customers to order a maximum of 5 units of a pre-order product, enter 5. - Allowed Guest: Allow guest to order preorder products.
- Text Bold: This option enables you to make the preorder button text bold, providing emphasis and making it stand out more prominently on the page.
- Text Italic: Likewise, you can choose to make the preorder button text italicized if you want to add a stylistic touch to your design.
- Status: This indicates whether the preorder feature is enabled or disabled. When enabled, the specified settings for preorder will be applied to the products accordingly.
